Film Reverie – Take 53 | Pathetic & Awkward

Brad and Mike discuss their summer adventures making the most pathetic and awkward movie you’ve ever seen! Perhaps I’m exaggerating a little… We shot a movie called Really Pathetic & Totally Awkward over the summer and in this 30 minute episode we joke about how crazy it was to shoot a feature in 9 days with no money and then try to crowdfund for Post Production. Please check out TotallyAwkwardMovie.com for outtakes, trailers and more!

Tucker and Wayne are two brothers who have completely had it with one another. When Wayne realizes Tucker has been seeing their friend Eleanor behind his back, he is forced to come to terms with his own feelings and insecurities about life and love.

Here is the pitch video for our Post Production crowdfund.

  • About The Project

This film is about how your friends and family know you so well that sometimes you have to get away from them so you can grow into the person you need to be. Who hasn’t looked in the mirror and questioned the person they see staring back at them from time to time? We know from our own personal experiences that life doesn’t always go the way you plan and if you’re not engaged in your own personal growth, you are bound to find yourself wishing you’d done things differently somewhere along the way. This film is a comedy about those things.

We believe that films have an incredible way of showing you things about yourself, while you are watching stories about completely ficticious characters. They have been such a big part of our life experience and we want to be the storytellers that bring that experience to you through our own personal vision. This is the thing that keeps us up at night. This is the thing that burns from deep inside of us. This story. This film. We have to make it. Join us on our journey to bring our passion to life.

While we’ve been telling people about our film, asking them to fund and follow us, we noticed that we kept repeating ourselves when trying to explain why following our project on Seed & Spark is so helpful and needed. So we made a video to simplify the process. If you are following our project and have told people about us and they ask why they need to follow, now you can send them this funny video to help explain. We hope you like it. We had a lot of fun making it.

We are trying to reach 1,000 followers in order to get filmmaker perks from our crowdfunding hosts at Seed&Spark. So here is a quick video update about the difference between backing/supporting and following.
